Obama, in New Mexico the other day, was asked why he is a Christian.

President Obama said Tuesday that he is a “Christian by choice” and that his decision was influenced by gospel teachings about salvation and the importance of loving one another.

“It was because the precepts of Jesus Christ spoke to me in terms of the kind of life that I would want to lead,” Obama said. “Being my brother’s and sister’s keeper. Treating others as they would treat me.”

Obama is scared to death of Hillary. He doesn’t trust her – obsesses over her almost as much as he does Fox News. He respects her though, which might be why he fears her so much as well. He talks the game, but when it comes down to it, she has played the game on a far tougher level than he has, and Obama knows that.

For those of you who may have missed it, Bristol Palin was on the Jay Leno show the other night. She was there to promote her participation on Dancing with the Stars.

to burn, or not to burn UPDATED

Pastor Terry Jones, from the Dove World Outreach Center in Florida, recently announced plans to burn copies of the Quran on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. General David Petraeus warned that the planned Quran burning could "endanger American troops in Afghanistan and be used to incite violence around the world". There have already been protests in Afghanistan and Indonesia.

This is a really sweet video, and it sounds like a great cause.

Patriot Golf Day is a fundraiser organized by the Folds of Honor Foundation, a charitable organization “that provides postsecondary educational scholarships for the children and spouses of military men and women disabled or killed while serving our great nation.” As if anyone needed an excuse to go play golf on Labor Day weekend.
