One issue I have been wondering about/trying to find addressed is how the Health Care reform will reconcile the costs of Medical School with the new govt. subsidized Doctor salaries.
In American, doesn’t med school run upwards of $100,000+?
My husbands cousin spent around $300o - $4000 for her entire university and med school in Italy.
Doctors graduating in America, with massive debt, I would assume expect to earn salaries that will allow them to repay their loans. Under a gov run plan, I don’t see that happening…?
Has this issue been addressed?
I don't know the answer to your question. But there are lots of unanswered questions that need to be asked until they are. Unless we have some idea of what they are finally going to propose, who knows?
ReplyDelete"Healthcare Reform" is a many headed snake that Our Leaders are ignoring -- your point about Medical School being outragously expensive being one of them. How about Medical Lawsuits? How about Malpractice Insurance costs? How about the return to altruism instead of profit?
ReplyDeleteIf the Gov't. takes it all over, you will have to ask for permission from the Gov't. to sue in the event of a legitimate medical error. A show of hands for those who thinks this is a good idea????
Can't they just pass a new medical practitioner's bailout reform act to solve the problems created by their problem solving health reform act which were exacerbated by their stimulus reforms and just plain acting?
ReplyDeleteOh Dagny, save us please??? Frisco, Slug, anybody there anymore?
