I have been following all kinds of stories, including Amanda Knox, and her trial, news on the economy, the upcoming G20, and Obama firing the GM CEO (I want to know what's in Rick Wagoner's severance package - I just heard it is $20 Million). So, there are lots of things to write about, just not much time.
I have also been practicing with photoshop. Franco found some really cool tools to use, so I have been trying to learn how they work. There are all these tools already set up to give your images vintage looks, and borders, etc. Very cool.

ReplyDeleteExpat in Germany here. I have continued to follow your blog but could not comment because of the 'ID' requirements you had set, so now that I can comment without creating an ID, I'm back.
Although I disagree with most of your posts, (they are so anti-Obama), I will continue to read it because of your knack for expressing yourself. I've had to completely stop watching the anti-Obama channels (aka Fox News or CNN) and prefer to get the right wing talking points from blogs like yours. I hope you know that even though I disagree, I don't want to attack you. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'll hear you (so to speak) even if I don't understand.
I think the main reason I return to your blog is that my heart is wishing I was in Italy and not Germany. My grandparents were some of the Italian natives that immigrated to the states and I've had a couple of trips to Italy to reconnect with the decendents of our family there. They welcomed me with open arms and I can't help but feel a connection to all Americans living there.
We're hoping to move back to the states soon and some days it feels like we're trapped here. The job market leaves us wanting but I cannot and will not give up hope. Anyway, Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI had to limit my exposure to msnbc and cnn because of their pro-Obama massive media bias! I can't tell you the number of times I have witnessed them inserting their bias, and distorting stories, in favor of Obama. Everyone owes it to themselves to listen to both sides of the media, and then fact check the information themselves. Because, with the morning conference calls between Rahm Emanuel and George Stephanapolous, James Carville, and others, I can assure you, on liberal media, you are getting talking points, coming from the WH. I just caught David Shuster totally distoring the facts last night. Rachel Maddow and Olbermann do it CONSTANTLY. I would say 9 out of 10 times the liberal media spins and distorts, and FOX, I would guess 7 out of 10 times, they are accurate.
Just because it comes from the Right, and you don't like the message, doesn't mean it isn't true. And more importantly, just because it comes from the Left, and you agree with their talking points, doesn't make it true, and any less biased.
I am so disenchanted with the left, and the liberal media. I believed their crap for years! NO more. I still listen to both sides, and I fact check.
There is a reason the liberal media, newspapers and new channels, are tanking....
(sorry, I am rambling, I am waiting for the mirrors in the bathroom to defog, so I can go get ready to leave. haha)
